The Bald Mountain Boys are currently booking dates for late 2016 and polishing original material for an LP to be recorded later this year. They have been playing Smokin’ Mountain Grass around Western North Carolina for several years. The band formed in Asheville, NC and is cooking up a hot mix of Appalachian Roots music. Sam Turner (Guitar, Vocals) Nelson Puckett (Guitar) J.d. Smith (Bass) Kendall Huntley (Banjo, Vocals), and Ben Williams (Mandolin, Vocals) give classic pickin’ due respect while forging a rowdy mountain sound.
