Floralorix @ Salvage Station 6-2-2017
Floralorix, Nashville’s Indie Rock Reggae band, blossomed in the summer of 2014 when friends united together for the one love of creating music together. The music itself is universally influenced, full of vibrant melodies and harmonies with lyrics centric on positive thought. The music stylistically ranges from cosmic, rootsy reggae to high-energy rock, introducing a unique new style to modern reggae music.
The band consists of guitarist and lead vocalist Matt Daughtry and bassist and vocalist Samantha Joelle. Both members of Floralorix come from different places and backgrounds, but are united by the dream to bring people together through their music.
In 2016, Floralorix proudly shared the stage with acts such as 311, The Wailers and Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad. Floralorix is a vital to the growth of the Nashville reggae scene. United with local and regional acts, the Jammin on Ellison Island and Marley’s Memory concert series repeatedly sold out Nashville’s own Exit/In.
